My name is Alexis (Lex) and I have been a hair stylist for 7 years. I graduated from Aveda Institute in Charlotte, N. C. in 2018 and received an award for “Best at Haircutting”. After graduation, I received an opportunity to work at the Van Michael Salon in Atlanta, Georgia but had to decline to stay near family. I have been able to channel my passion for quality hair care and service through my various jobs in the industry. I specialized in haircutting at Planet 21 in Charlotte for 2 years. Moving to LuLu Salon in Waxhaw, N.C. for 2.5 years providing multiple hair services before moving to Hickory, N.C.
I worked independently since living in Hickory until I started at Kelly and Company. My passion is haircutting, hair color and Keratin Treatments. I have return clients for 3-4 years from Charlotte who continue to drive to receive the quality of service for their hair that I provide. Often, I remind myself of the definition of an excellent Hairstylist: A highly skilled miracle worker, an artist with magical hands, who is not only a master of color, style and creativity but also has patience, inspires, encourages, and supports each client that sits in my chair. This is my motto each day!
